Wilderness Out Cry with Dutch Sheets, Lou Engle & More! (14June2010)

Purpose

Through a series of supernatural happenings, Jerry and Sandra Murphy became the owners of 444 acres in Poplar Bluff, Missouri: the address--444 County Road 543; the elevation at the giant cross on the property--444 feet; number of years from when Jerry was handed the key to the property--44. Through the years, as Jerry prayed Isaiah 44:4 over this farm named "Moriah" (the mountain in Scripture on which the cross occurred), he believed a generation would one day gather there to cry out to God for awakening in America.

In September of 2009 Lou Engle and I stood on this property praying about using it for just such a purpose. It is very hard to describe the feeling that overtakes a person as he or she steps onto this beautiful land--God's presence truly hovers over it. As Lou and I prayed, dreaming of thousands of people gathering there before the Lord, Lou, knowing nothing about the 444's, suddenly began to exclaim, "this is Isaiah 44:4!"

God is indeed coming to Poplar Bluff, Missouri this summer to fulfill Isaiah 44:3-5, "I will pour out water on the thirsty…I will pour out my Spirit on our offspring…they will spring up like poplars by streams…one will say, 'I am the Lord's'…and another will write on his hand, 'Belonging to the Lord'…"

In his day, John the Baptist became a "voice crying out in the wilderness, preparing the way" for the Lord. It is significant that God required John's generation to leave the comforts of home and meet Him in the wilderness. There is something significant about "unplugging" from our modern conveniences, humbling ourselves and, with undistracted devotion, seeking only Him. Join us as we do just that at Wilderness Outcry. Be a part of God recapturing His dream for America. I assure you this is His idea--and He will come!

Dear Friend of DSM and Wilderness Outcry,

We are very sorry to announce that due to a lack of
funds, the large 5-day gathering called Wilderness Outcry will no
longer take place this upcoming summer. We believe this vision is of
the Lord, and certainly no one can deny the desperate need of our
nation for prayer, but the reality is that provision for the high cost
of doing an event like this—most of which must be paid in advance—has
simply not materialized. We are still holding out hope that the
gathering may take place next year or in 2012.

This was never intended to be a money-making event. To the contrary,
without charging a registration fee for attending, we knew Dutch Sheets
Ministry’s costs would be several hundred thousand dollars. We were
confident we could raise this money. We were wrong. The line between
true faith and presumption can be very fine sometimes, and our ability
to truly discern God’s will can be difficult. Obviously, we fell short
in both areas.

We are saddened and grieved with this development and repent for any
presumption on our part. We thank our friend Steve Shultz and Elijah
List for helping promote Wilderness Outcry and we sincerely ask their
and your forgiveness for any inconvenience this has caused.

For those who have registered and paid for a campsite, we will issue
you a full refund. For those of you who have donated to Wilderness
Outcry, you will be receiving a personal email from my office.

We have been receiving inquiries wondering if we are part of the activities taking place on Moriah Ranch in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on June 14 - 18, 2010. Although we are not formally affiliated with any of the activities taking place, we continue to have great respect for Jerry and Sandra Murphy and other spiritual leaders in Poplar Bluff. As you know, our hearts are filled with passion to see America turn and experience a great awakening. We certainly encourage any effort of prayer to facilitate that.

We learned the last week of May from Prophetic Minister Don Randolph that OUTCRY in the WILDERNESS had been cancelled.  Our hearts were torn wide, wide open...with stuffin' & lovin' & intellectual confusion oozin' on out. 

I walked outside and looked up into the EASTERN SKY where much PROPHECY has been revealed to me since January 2006.  I felt the presence of the HOLY SPIRIT...and a call that the event IS MEANT to be!  We started to come anyway. 

I suppose I'm too innocent, but I truly don't understand why money is needed.  My husband & I were drawn by the LORD to go...to GATHER & PRAY & SING & SHARE PROPHETIC MESSAGES that many of us have been receiving.  We truly weren't coming to HEAR paid speakers, but rather to join as ONE HEART & a new SPIRIT with others equally driven to "put our hands together & work together...and STAND AS ONE in FAITH & appeal to our heavenly FATHER in the name of Yeshua."

We have 25 acres in TEXAS & would love to invite ALL BELIEVERS HERE for a HOLY SPIRIT LED GRASSROOTS WOODSTOCK!  You will need to provide your own food (peanut butter & crackers or whatever) & water for the weekend, tent, sleepingbag & flashlight. Also, BRING YOUR FAITH, A SENSE of ADVENTURE, your accoustic GUITAR, HARMONICA, & HAND DRUM, &  your favorite HOLY BIBLE. 

We'll READ, PRAY, & SING PRAISES everyday & night for 3 days!
